AN APPLICATION OF THE TEXAS DT TO A TOW LINE GLIDER
This shows how one customer has incorporated the suggested start method on his Jesse James tow line glider. The principle is straight forward. I think there may be a problem with the use of the screws directly into balsa. I would have suggested the use of our installation kit with the plywood mount. Furthermore, the guide for the line does not appear to be very well supported and it may tear out of the fuselage. Note that although the photo below shows a wire to stop the regulator, the customer has changed this to some monofilament fish line.
