THE MICRO E MODEL C TIMER (includes DT and RDT compatibility)

This timer is identical to the Model B except it adds one more terminal for a male three pin connector from that RDT receiver and it has the RDT function integrated with the basic timer. The same mechanical timer is used with all products. Note: this RDT feature will NOT WORK with a conventional RC receiver. It must be used with a dedicated RDT such as the Ken Bauer or Sidus (Italy) products.

Why is integration of the RDT important? First, you do not want to DT  while the motor is running. Should the user elect to press the RDT during the motor run, our electronics will immediately stop the motor and activate the servo DT one second later. Second, no added battery is needed to power the RDT. We provide it through the three pin terminal on our board. See photo below.

This timer has been designed and tested with the Ken Bauer RDT. We make no representations about its' use with any other product. Please note that the Bauer unit has a three pin connector on it just like we have on our timer board. So, you need a Male to Male connector wire. We can supply this as it is very hard to find. Where the location for installation is thin (such as the Super Pearl 202E) we have an optional circuit board that is has the three pin connectors parallel to the board and at 90 degrees from the standard. This fits inside the half inch area of the Pearl. Note, this does consume more installed length due to the wires now coming out the sides. Not a problem as this can be easily adapted by location of the board. Also, entire the board can be rotated to any desired position. See what this looks like Here. We do not recommend this configuration where you have adequate installation depth in a conventional fuselage
